This week, local favorite Tokyo Night Market makes its return to Yoyogi while festival fun heads to Asagaya, Shimokita, Kōenji, and Jimbōchō. On top of that, anyone can feel the Halloween spirit with family friendly and not-so-family friendly events across the city.

Traditional Japanese Noh theatre is a uniquely immersive art form that lovers of Japanese culture can’t miss. At Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, you can enjoy the drama surrounded by nature.

Two days of jazz in the streets, cafés, shrines, and churches of Asagaya. The festival, organized by the local community, has been running since 1995.

Turn up the lights for the Sakura Citizens Fireworks Festival in Sakura City, Chiba. This year’s fireworks show will be held on a smaller scale than usual.
